Wildlife garden - Tonbridge

A garden design in development that has been designed to both promote wildlife but also create a full and magical display of colour and interest. The garden benefits from stunning views to the surrounding natural landscape, so there was an opportunity to take advantage of the ‘borrowed landscape’ in the design, drawing from the natural aesthetic and reflecting it in the garden with a more naturalistic theme.
 
Once established, this large garden will be bursting with wildlife from the meadowlike naturalistic planting to the large wildlife pond.
 
It will also be a garden for quiet contemplation, with a seat by the pond as the perfect place to enjoy the ambience of the space, taking in the gentle notes of a babbling waterfall as dragonflies dance over the water in summer, and a gentle breeze flows through the borders creating animation amongst the grasses and perennial forms, with a tapestry of flowers providing soothing pastel tones and cool calming colours at every turn.
