A contemporary garden - Tunbridge Wells

Here the clients wanted a modern look garden design and this theme was deployed to provide a clean and fresh feel that complimented the traditional elements of the period property.
 
With a relatively short and narrow garden, it was important to use garden design elements and tricks to help make the space feel larger. A stepping stone pathway has been laid, offset with elongated pavers that guide the eye laterally through the space, the path then carries on beyond the garden room to create a sense of space and garden beyond.
 
The use of natural elements of wood and stone fuse with the lush planting and create a soft and comforting vibe. The dark backdrops allow the green foliage to ‘pop’, along with the contrasting lighter tones of the flooring materials that highlight areas as you move through the space, creating a modern crisp finish.
